PRF Injection Pre-Treatment Care

• Increase fluid intake
• Avoid taking blood thinning and anti-inflammatory medications
• Limit or avoid alcohol consumption and smoking
• Inform doctor health status, medical history or personal activities that may be relevant to treatment
• Apply sunscreen regularly

PRF Injection Procedure

• A small amount of blood is taken out from the patient’s body into a sterile vial
• A vial with blood is spun in a centrifuge machine that separates plasma from blood
• Apply numbing cream to the suggested area
• Inject into the area to be treated
• Apply cooling gel to soothe the skin

PRF Injection Post-Treatment Care

• Apply cold gel packs to reduce any discomforts
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption
• Refrain from taking blood thinners for several days
• Take an antibiotic if prescribed by doctor
• Increase loads of water intake to help with healing process
• Apply sunscreen and moisturizers regularly
• Avoid Facials, Facial Massages, or Laser Treatments for 2 Weeks Afterward
