Laser Acne Treatment

The pores in the skin contain oil-producing glands called sebaceous glands that release oil called sebum. Sebum production is normal for skin development. However, Acne occurs when the pores get clogged with sebum, dead skin cells and bacteria that is present normally on the skin.

The newest technology to fight acne involves the use of lasers. Laser Acne treatments are the fastest way to deal with scars and discoloration left behind when acne heals, but can also be beneficial for inflammatory acne. The laser will attack acne bacteria, heat the oil glands under your skin to slow down oil production and trigger new skin growth.
